The Base Decides Whether the Lawn Lasts

Artificial turf is only as good as what is underneath it. We strip the existing sod, grade the yard to shed water away from the house and pool, and lay a compacted aggregate base so rain drains straight through instead of pooling under the surface. Middle Tennessee clay holds water, and a turf job that skips the base turns spongy and uneven within a couple of seasons.

On top of that base we install a dense, realistic residential turf with a soft infill, seamed and edged so it reads as a manicured lawn from the patio and feels good under bare feet coming out of the pool. It works as a full lawn replacement, a play zone, a dog run, or the strip between the pool deck and the fence that never seems to grow right.
