Backyard Resort Pools builds rock waterslides and waterfall grottos into custom gunite pools across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. I am Ernie Nagy, the Pool Kahuna, and this is the feature that turns a backyard pool into the place every kid on the street wants to be invited.

Built Into the Rockwork, Not Added to It

A real waterslide starts with an engineered structure, steel and gunite sculpted with artificial rockwork so the slide reads as a natural rock formation instead of a fiberglass tube propped beside the pool. The waterfall that feeds it recirculates through the same plumbing that runs the slide’s flow, so the whole feature reads as one piece of landscape.

We shape the run for a smooth, safe glide, finish it in a slide-grade gelcoat or plaster that stays smooth underwater, and set the rock texture to match whatever stone is already on your patio or pool coping.

The Feature Every Kid Remembers

It is the first thing kids run to and the last thing they leave. A waterslide is what turns “we have a pool” into “you have to see their pool.”
