The Engineering Behind the Illusion

An infinity edge lowers one wall of the pool a fraction of an inch below the waterline, so a thin sheet of water spills continuously over that edge instead of stopping at a coping stone. What looks like the pool dissolving into the hillside is really a second, hidden pool below it: a catch basin that collects every drop and a dedicated pump that sends it right back over the edge.

None of that works without the site to support it. We look for a real elevation drop or a view worth framing before we recommend one, then engineer the basin, the plumbing, and the structural shell as one system, poured in gunite so the shape and the edge are built exactly to your slope, not a mold.
