Backyard Resort Pools designs and installs low-voltage landscape and pool lighting across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. I am Ernie Nagy, the Pool Kahuna, and this is the feature that turns a backyard that looks good at 2pm into one that looks better at 9pm.

Lighting Designed Feature by Feature

Most backyards get a floodlight and call it done. We light the yard the way a resort does: fixtures aimed at what deserves attention, palms and pergola posts uplit, steps and walls washed low so nobody trips, water lit from beneath so it glows instead of going black at dusk.

Everything runs on a low-voltage system with a color-changing controller, so the same fixtures that throw a warm white glow for a quiet Tuesday can shift the whole yard to color for a party, all from a phone, without an electrician on standby.

The Resort Look Does Not Clock Out at Sunset

A pool photographs beautifully at noon. Good lighting is what makes it worth walking outside for at nine.
