Why the Sauna Belongs in the Backyard

A sauna next to the pool turns a summer amenity into a year-round ritual: fifteen minutes of heat, a cold rinse in the water, and back again. Barrel saunas and modern glass-front rooms both live happily outdoors when they are built from cedar, roofed for rain, and vented correctly.

We handle the whole install: a level pad, weatherproof power for the heater, drainage, and placement that keeps the sauna a barefoot walk from the water instead of a trek across the yard.

The pool earns its keep four months a year. The sauna works the other eight: a glowing cedar room in the snow while the water waits for spring.
